Interview: Ashley, age 18

My Elder Sister:
"Don't worry about it till it happens and when it happens forget about it"

1. Why do you repeat this quote to me every time I have a problem?
It doesn't make sense to become stress out about things in life over something present or future.

2. What knowledge could I learn from you?
To enjoy life to the fullest because you never know when something can be taken away from you and make sure to put your efforts into everything you do.

3. What codes do you live by?
To take every day as if it is a new day, with no regrets.

4. What is your favorite memory of when you were a child?
My favorite memory is when I would go ouside to the fields to chase butterfly's with my dog Fabeo, with my sister.

5. What is your favorite book?
The Eight, because it has a lot of quotes in it, that proves me inspirational advice towards my life.

6. Do you know any advice story's that has been passed down the family?
My mom and dad quoted, "That if a horse ever reared its head, move your head far off to the side so your teeth don't get bashed out." That has happened twice in my life time once when I was 12 and the other was when I was 17.
My mom said,"If a stray dog ever comes up to you, stand like a tree don't scream or run becasue the dog will chase afater you and bite you." This situation happen when I was 13. I was standing by the road at the bus stopped when a big sheepdog came up to me. I hold really still until finally the sheepdog lost interest and went away. These advices helped me alot throught out my years.

7. Do you know anything about our origin?
I know we are Cherokee, French, and Irish.

8. Do you have an idea of what Storms means and how we got it?
I guess, that since people in the old n' days based there last names over what job they had. In conclusion over relative must have studied the weather.

9. What id your favorite hobby?
I love to run becuase it makes me feel like I am flying.

10. Out of all of your poems which one is your favorite poem and why?
The Pass, We Walk On It is my favorite poem because it has a message which everyone can relate to, to take chances and live your life to the fullest.
